	at turnwood, our customers often ask us about our bedroom furniture.   so we've written down a few answers to the most commonly asked questions by customers. if we haven't covered a question that you may have, please fill in the contact us form here with your enquiry, and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
where do you get your rimu from? we buy all our rimu through legitimate native timber wholesalers and are from sustainable forests preferably from the central north island, however, due to some difficulties of supply we have had to source our timber from all throughout new zealand.
where can you get turnwood bedroom furniture from? turnwood bedroom furniture is located in over 100 stores throughout new zealand. visit our store locations to find a retail store close to you here.
can i buy turnwood bedroom furniture direct? we encourage our customers to contact our retail stores in order to purchase our furniture.
how long does it take to deliver? we aim to have stock for most of our popular products and can have them delivered within 7 days for north island and 14 days for south island. for product to be made to order anything from 2 weeks to 6 weeks is normal, depending on run cycles and how busy we are. n.b. most of our pine furniture is made to order due to the large colour options it is impossible to carry stock off all colours.
can i have custom made furniture? yes, all turnwood bedroom furniture is able to be fully customised in colour, handle and leg option and size to ensure that you get exactly what you are after. for a list of colour options, click here, and for handle and leg options, click here. we regularly make height and width adjustments to our standard range of products, mainly so that they can fit a restricted area but do not do one offs. please discuss with your retailer your requirements.
what colour options do you have? we have a selection of natural colours ranging from white wash to silky black in our pine finish and colour options page. to see the full selection, click here. we also let customers choose colours from the resene and dulux ranges to apply to their furniture for a small additional charge.
how long is your warranty? turnwood bedroom furniture is covered for five years for manufacture and workmanship faults. for more information, please refer to warrantee information here.

why should i use twin flexi slats instead of single flexi slats? we recommend using a twin flexi slat system if you require extra support. to see some of the benefits of twin flexi systems, click here.
is your furniture made from solid wood? most manufacturers use veneer for the sides as it is more stable, does not move in any way and using high quality veneer (thin layer of timber on top of mdf) reduces the impact on our timber resource.
