Rimu Product

New Zealand Rimu are some of the most beautiful grained timbers in the world, but being a natural product, variations such as colour and grain can occur which adds to the individual character of your Turnwood product.  Reasons for this are
No two pieces of timber are ever the same, and each accepts stains/sealer/lacquer in a different manner.  This is due to the age of the timber when milled, where it was grown, the type of soil it was grown in, weather conditions the tree had to contend with.  Even the number of daylight hours a tree receives creates a big difference in its final makeup. Every tree is different from its neighbor.
Atmospheric conditions at the time of finishing, hot or cold, humid or dry.  These conditions all directly have an influence on the final product.

The colour and grain variations are not considered a manufacturing fault.
